Hellidon Lakes Hotel Daventry, Daventry

My stay at the hotel was enjoyable overall. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a good selection of tea, coffee, and bottled water provided. The service was excellent, especially from the staff at the bar, restaurant, and reception. However, the location was not ideal for my needs, lacking in some areas that could be improved. The dining experience was satisfactory, offering decent choices. The facilities were adequate, but there were some areas that needed attention.

The service was top-notch with friendly and attentive staff, though their focus on golf activities was noticeable. The location was beautiful and serene, overlooking a stunning lake, but there were occasional disturbances from outside. Dining options were decent but lacked some essentials, while the facilities were adequate.

My room was not cleaned to the standard I expected, with dust everywhere and dirt on the carpet. However, the room was spacious and felt like a private suite, complete with separate bath and shower. I appreciated the nice touch of complimentary dressing gowns, premium coffee, water, and biscuits.
